Rusty Solomon
CEO
Rusty Solomon serves as CEO of Mandrien Consulting Group. Mandrien Consulting Group is the nations only management consulting firm devoted specifically to the mortgage and title insurance industries.
Rusty Solomon came to Mandrien Consulting Group after enjoying a five year tenure at Linear Title and Closing as its National Managing Director. Mr. Solomon's primary responsibility was shaping the company's vision as it related to title operations, business process development, national licensing strategies, technology, national sales and marketing, AFBA partners, compliance, risk management and quality assurance.
While at Linear, Mr. Solomon was a Director at NexGen Compliance Solutions, a technology provider to the mortgage and title industries. Moreover, he was the chief strategist concerning it's rate engine for the title and mortgage industry including its flagship product, TitleHound.
Prior to joining Linear Title, Mr. Solomon served as President of AdvantEdge Real Estate Systems, a real estate services firm that specialized in unique closing solutions and expeditive abstracting. At AdvantEdge, he was responsible for national operations for its lender clients averaging approximately $50,000,000 in closings per month. At AdvantEdge, the average turnaround time for an abstract was .65 days.
Prior to joining AdvantEdge, Mr. Solomon was an analyst at the Lightstone Group in New York City where he reported to Lightstone Principals regarding the $638 million acquisition of Prime Retail, Inc. (NASDAQ: PMRE), a publicly traded REIT with 37 outlet centers throughout the United States, and over 10.4 million sq. ft. of GLA, the largest real estate transaction in Lightstone Group history. This property was sold for $2.3 billion to Simon Properties in September, 2010.
Mr. Solomon has served on numerous national boards including the Board of Directors of the Anti-Defamation League. Past and present alliances include Cancer Crusaders, American Cancer Society, and Save the Children.
Additionally, Jeremy serves as the Business Process Director of Bay Title after acquiring broad and deep knowledge of the title insurance industry through various leadership positions. He most recently served as the President of Criterion National Real Estate Solutions. His experience with business process outsourcing and management proved highly valuable to the growth of Criterion. Jeremy is a passionate business process management professional with a keen interest in helping companies increase efficiencies through the introduction of new technology, automation and outsourcing.
In his leadership role at Criterion, Jeremy brought to the table a wide spectrum of knowledge, training and experience in the title and mortgage industry including, but not limited to, operations management, business process development, software implementation, outsourcing, call center dynamics, quality assurance, vendor management, title reading, risk management, curative, and post production.
The genesis of Jeremy’s career was at one of the country’s high-volume. “tech-driven” settlement service providers. Over the span of four years, Jeremy managed the complete outsourcing process, eventually overseeing more than 10,000 units per month. This included process optimization with a focus on scaling through the use of technology, outsourcing and automation.
Matthew Montgomery
Director of Strategic Services
Matthew Montgomery, a consummate title professional, joins Mandrien Consulting Group as the Director of Strategic Services. In the past, he has handled sales and marketing at title insurance and financial services companies all over the country. He also has a strong background in operational consulting, due to his experience at major national title companies. Most recently, he served as the Sales and Marketing Director for a national title insurance and closing services company. He has conducted in-depth market research, developing untapped markets and planning successful market entrance for many products. He has also worked to align companies’ short- and long-term strategy with marketing programs designed to produce results, with an eye to efficient operational scaling. These skills allow him to successfully consult with Mandrien Consulting Group’s clients looking to expand their market share. Finally, his extensive business development and leadership skills make him a valuable addition to the Mandrien Consulting team, where he now manages sales efforts on the national level.
Jaclyn Peterson
Compliance Counsel
New York attorney Jaclyn Peterson, who has previously worked with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General and the District Attorney’s Office of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, brings her legal acumen to Mandrien Consulting Group, where she fills the role of Compliance Counsel. Ms. Peterson is responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of publications and acting as a general legal consultant for Mandrien Consulting Group. She is also excited to leverage her experience as a member of Widener Law Review’s editorial board to help compose and edit a definitive national licensing manual for American title insurance agents.
Ms. Peterson’s legal interests include insurance law, criminal justice, and public interest law. Ms. Widener holds a dual bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology from West Virginia University and received her J.D. from the Widener School of Law.
Alexander Crompton
Director of Corporate Communications
Alexander Crompton is a marketing and public relations professional who strongly believes that effective communication has the power to shape the business and social landscapes for the better. As the Director of Corporate Communications at Mandrien Consulting Group, he is passionate about promoting high technology, compliance, licensure and business optimization programs in the title insurance and mortgage industries.
With professional experience in the United States and France, Mr. Crompton comes to Mandrien Consulting Group with a strong communications and business development background in the education, financial services, medical research and nonprofit sectors. His role at Mandrien is twofold: promoting Mandrien Consulting Group’s licensing, business process optimization and strategy consultation; and leveraging his expertise in both traditional and new-media marketing to initiate and guide clients’ campaigns.
Mr. Crompton holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Rice University.
